From early-stage support to established organizations facing a critical moment or looking to expand, we welcome hearing about how we can support creative solutions to today’s challenges. Be sure to check eligibility guidelines below to ensure qualifications.

We will hold two Open Calls in 2026. The Grant Portal will be open during these two periods. Please reach out to us any time during the year with questions.

Jan 12 – Mar 15, 2026 with Determination Letters delivered mid May
Jul 13 – SEP 11, 2026 with Determination Letters delivered late Nov

Rapid Response Grants

The Elevar Fund Rapid Response Grant offers fast funding for urgent, unforeseen needs or opportunities to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. These applications are reviewed as they come in and responded to within 2-4 weeks (unless urgency requires otherwise).

What We Fund


We fund organizations that are tax-exempt under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) are eligible for grant funding. Priority is given to organizations serving the greater Dayton and surrounding region.

Priority goes to programs and organizations that align with our core values:

  • Dignity of the Individual: Respect and uphold the inherent dignity of every person.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Empower individuals and communities to be independent and resilient.
  • Efficient Leveraging of Resources: Maximize impact through challenge grants, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Protecting Our Natural Resources: Preserve and responsibly manage the natural resources that sustain our communities.
  • Sustainable Solutions: Develop approaches that remain effective and viable over time.

What We Do Not Fund

  • Grants to individuals (unless closely aligned with a 501(c)(3) organization
  • Endowment funds
  • Debt reduction
  • Mass funding appeals
  • Sponsorships
  • Advertising or other support of fundraising events, tickets
  • Political campaigns or activities
  • Religious organizations
  • Capital campaigns
  • Organizations which are not tax-exempt under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code paragraph 501(c)(3)
  • Organizations outside the U.S.
  • Projects and organizations that do not align with our primary focus
