The Elevar Fund supports projects and organizations in our priority areas that advance our mission and vision.

Our Priority Regions

We focus broadly and without geographical constraint on issues that matter to us. Priority is given to organizations serving the greater Dayton and surrounding region.

 

What we look for in Grantee Partners

  • Only organizations that are tax-exempt under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) are eligible for grant funding
  • Indicators of high potential (taking into account the size of the organization, geography and mission)
  • Alignment with our mission of innovative ideas to affect social change
  • Measured and evident outcomes
  • Experience of leadership

 

What we do not fund

  • Grants to individuals (unless closely aligned with a 501 (c )3 organization)
  • Endowment funds
  • Debt reduction
  • Mass funding appeals
  • Sponsorships
  • Advertising for fundraising events, tickets
  • Political campaigns or activities
  • Organizations which are not tax-exempt under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code paragraph 501(c)(3)
  • Organizations outside the United States
  • Projects and organizations that do not align with our primary focus
